Undergraduate and Master of Engineering Students

Our research lab actively welcomes undergraduate and Master of Engineering students who are interested in gaining hands-on research experience. Each semester, we typically host students who contribute meaningfully to ongoing projects across a range of technical areas. Students may participate for academic research credit, through funded research positions when available, or on a volunteer basis. Lab members gain practical experience in research methods, modeling, experimentation, and technical communication while working closely with graduate students and faculty mentors. We encourage motivated students from an array of backgrounds to get involved and explore research as part of their academic and professional development.

If you are an interested or returning undergraduate or master of engineering student, please fill out this survey. Please note that onboarding occurs at the beginning of each semester (before and during the first week) and before the summer, and applications submitted in the between periods will only be reviewed at the start of the next onboarding period. Refer to the linked rubrics to see the expectations and guidelines for interested researchers. Please direct any further questions or clarifications to gch72@cornell.edu.
